I got this for my 5 year old. I sized up as suggested but he still says his feet hurt. We cant use these with thick socks They are very sturdy but also too heavy. I think you should order at least 2 sizes bigger.

Should have for wide feet: A bit to small would be nice it they ran for wide feet
Too small and narrow for my child. Very stiff. Reordered a size up and still too tight. Sadly had to return two pairs and will need to find a different style. So cute though.
