These shoes are apparently designed with a rubber tongue which makes them squeak very loudly with every step. My 4th grader was stuck wearing these for the first few days of school until we could get the original Samba design with an all leather tongue. I didn't realize they were different when I ordered them, so heads up to anyone else. I'd avoid these.
Ordered Samba sneakers in size 11, but the wrong sneaker and wrong size was sent- superstar in size 10 was inside the box. The outside box is correct but the shoe inside is totally wrong. Returned item right away. So disappointing.
These shoes are classic and comfortable ! Though they do run a little big.

So cute and in trend for my ten year old. Took some time to break in. Also this brand runs big so we sized down a half size.
