Force Suspender Pants

The fit is perfect, but I ordered a large even though I'm a medium in almost everything. I'd read that these run snug, and they do. I like to have the option of throwing these over a pair of nylon hiking pants while wearing a sweater and not having them feel too tight. These are just right for me. I'd order a size up if you're on the fence. I love the design and quality, except for the suspender straps and attachments. The straps are very stretchy and kind of wimpy. I expected something more substantial. The clips that attach the suspenders to the belt loops in the front are NOT a good match. There is a large gap where you slide the (too flexible) plastic clips onto the belt loops. When they slide and flex they want to come off. This should be a much more positive attachment point. They should only come off when I want them to come off. Fortunately, the suspender unit can be completely zipped off (hidden zip in the waistband) at the rear, just leaving a nice pair of ski pants. I can then put on my own heavier duty suspenders that won't fail. I shouldn't have to though. I was almost going to return them just because of the cheesy suspender setup, but everything else about these is top notch, so they're worth keeping.
