The reviews for these jeans were confusing and all over the place, so I hope my experience will be helpful. I'm a 24 or 25 across most brands. It's been years since I last purchased Levi's, and they used to run snug, so I tried the 25 and 26 in the Black Sprout and Jive Sound washes. I can honestly say both worked depending on how you want them to fit, obviously an additional size up will lend to a comfy casual look. I kept the 25 knowing they would stretch due to the elastane, but could even have gone with 24 (they do loosen up a fair bit after being worn all day). If I could rate these in half stars, I'd give it a 4.5 as the inseam is perfect (I'm 5'2") and they're so comfortable, but they sit a tiny bit lower than a true high rise jean.

Major shrinkage. Washed and line dried and the length shrunk about 2".

The length is not good for people 5'5 because it they are too long to be "cropped" but too short to to wear with sneakers. Also, I would not recommend for anyone with natural curves. These jeans create curves so if your already curvy, like me, it just looks wrong.

Have had these for less than a year and the button fly has broken after maybe 10 wears total. I don’t think these are “premium” quality. This “black sprout” color and material is not a true denim and I think it is not as nice as their actual premium line of denim. Really disappointed considering the cost.

It was tighter and longer than expected.

I bought these in the wash "Christine" Size 32 (I'm typically a US14) (remember that wash matters when picking out jeans, different washes may fit different. Check the Levi's website to see if a specific wash is true to size or not). They look great but they are snug. I should've researched more because I didn't realize these are button up rather than having a zipper and button. They were a bit uncomfortable to button but I could button them. I worry that sizing up would've made the jeans too big on me. Overall I do really like them but I would never live in them.

It was near impossible to undo the button fly. It was very stiff and the button holes very tight. I had to return the pants.

The fit is very flattering; I am 5’3” and these seem to lengthen my legs. Fabric is substantial, not flimsy or stretchy.

These are cute jeans with a nice straight cut and deep black color. The 26 inseam was ankle length on my petite 5'0" frame, but unforutnately, I found these ran small. I tried them in a size 24 and then size 25, but alas, neither fit. They were too tight in the waist and very tight in the thigh area. I am more muscular/athletic body type. With the thick cotton, non-stretch fabric, they had no give. So I am giving up and decided these just don't work for me.
