Classic Ragg Wool Crew Neck Fair Isle Sweater

The knitting on the Fair Isle area was not woven off and I had an open spot develop. I am a knitter and happened to have the correct color of yarn so I fixed the mistake.

Ive been replacing synthetic fibers with only well this was a wonderful sweater for the price.

I have been looking for a Norwegian sweater for some time and so was excited to see the Fair Isle sweater. The color and fit were fine, but what I really object to is that the entire collar with the pattern on it is created separately and then sown on to the lower part of the sweater. While this might lower manufacturing costs, it makes for a very uncomfortable sweater that will likely, in the near future, come apart at the seams. If you look closely at the pictures of the sweater you will see what I mean. I would not recommend this product.

I like the color, The fit is a little big for my very small bodice. but with the roominess I can add a few layers underneath. The sleeves fit to my wrists. the length is good for me at 24" from top of shoulder. if you have more body mass on the top of shoulder the sleeves might run short. the measurement from the neck edge to the wrist is 27 & 3/8". good luck.

I love these sweaters anyway, wear them all winter; as a teacher they work so well for me. The new blue one is really pretty. I have them dry cleaned at the end of winter and put them away until October.

This sweater looks and feels good and I expect will last a long time. It has classic styling.
