These are great boots. I wear them all the time. This is my second pair. They do run large, I normally wear a size 8 and I have to get a size 7 for these, and that's with thick winter socks. They do take a while to wear in and become comfortable, but once they're they are great, just don't put them on out of the box and expect to head out on a super long hike without backup boots or at least bandaids.

These boots are great and LL Beans customer service is great. When I told the sales agent I was replacing my 34 year old boots that had a crack in them he asked it I know about the resoleing. I did but said after that long I thought it was about time to buy a new pair. He suggested getting the old pair resoled as back up. I trust buy products from them because of their quality and this kind of service.

I live in the midwest and I don't know what has taken me so long to purchase these. They are perfect. I absolutely think they will be perfect for the elements and they look so stylish. I am definitely a size 10.5/11 and I followed the guidelines and ordered a size down and ordered the 10, which are perfect with plenty of room for thick socks. If I ordered an 11 they would have been way too big! So excited for these!

My first pair was made out of canvas and purchased over 10 years ago. They survived modern dirt water, rocks, and much outdoor work until the stitching started to finally break earlier this year. Glad you still make them. My new pair is leather and very comfortable.! size 7 wide fit my feet well even though I wear European size 39.

I purchased these books for a vacation to Alaska in June, but packed them on a recent trip to Minnesota. The weather was very cold and we were in a snow storm Siri f our stay. The boots were perfect In conjunction with some thick wool socks. The boots were comfortable and great in the elements
