Downeast Slip On Wool

Love these shoes but they are at least a full size too large. I wear a 10.5 and the 10s were huge and the 9s were snug. If they made 1/2 sizes, I think the 9.5 would have worked.

Really wanted these shoes to wow me, but they were (1) HUGE (I’m a size 9.5-10 and ordered a 9; my foot was swimming in them) (2) weirdly squeaky, like styrofoam cup squeaky. Such a cool look, but a hard pass on these.

Not sized correctly: Shoe slipper not sized correctly. Seemed more like the equivalent men's size.

I really wanted to keep these but my bunions didn't so, I will have to send them back. They are a size smaller than most of my other shoes, but the toebox did not suffice. Really cute.

Like others recommended, I ordered a full size smaller than I usually wear- LLBean shoes often seem to run big. The smaller size was absolutely perfect and I haven't taken these shoes off! They ain't sexy- or luxurious but boy are they comfortable! Good wool contains lanolin making tired feet feel softer and less dry in cold weather. They feel like comfy sneakers but for adults. They arrived earlier today and I haven't taken them off- and my feet never feel comfortable in any shoes- well, except for very expensive ones. But these shoes are going to be my new go to around the house, the yard, the dog park- for long walks and short trips. Unlike other wool shoes I have tried over the years these feel like my favorite pair of socks- not too hot nor too cool..... just right.

Happy with these practical house shoes/slippers. I was needing a house slipper with a removeable insole that would also be comfortable and still fit with the insert I am now using to help with scoliosis treatment. These are great.

Ordered right size, too large: I ordered the right size, the same as the hiking boots. And these were huge for my feet.

Comfy: I like these. Love the look. They kind of have a weird bump on the inside of the heel which I thought may bother me but it doesn't .
