SEE RATING WITH RETURN PACKAGE. PURCHASED THREE SIMILAIR PAIRS IN THE PAST THAT WERE PREFECT. THIS PAIAR WAS THE SAME SIZE BUT THIS PAIR WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE

With Bean, sometimes you get real gems. The quality is maintained. A lot of reviews lament that a replacement item lacks the quality of an earlier piece. This Moc is made in El Salvador and is a thing of beauty. The leather has the fragrance of a new heavy leather baseball glove [the Men will appreciate the analogy]. A close look at all the stitching shows that the El Salvador labor force takes quality seriously. Gracias. The padding is perfect. Now I would not want to spend a day in Manhattan wearing these, they are NOT for long day hikes. But for a daily casual shoe they are unbeatable. When you are tired of wearing a casual sneaker with 100% unnatural materials [they call that "Manmade"], and crave real leather, then this is the solution. Well done to the Team in charge of this footwear. Maybe offer a box of El Salvador cigars?

I bought these for wearing with business casual office attire. The fit is spot on. They are solid feeling with heavy leather but required very little breaking in. They have a nice leather footbed with arch support and are comfortable throughout the day. I occasionally wear them on a mile or more walk without any issues. Not inexpensive, but well worth the price.

Quality is good. Fit is an issue. 13 = too large, 12 = too narrow. Don't really discover until they are worn for some time, and thus unable to return.

I like the fit right out of the box! Usually I have to break in most shoes for a couple of uses, but these allagash felt great without the necessary getting used to. They look great to! The only thing I would suggest is to offer them with soles not quite so outdoorsy.
