Something has happened to Birdies shoes. Their sizing is suddenly off. I have several other Birdies in a size 8.5 and this pair of 8.5 was massive on me. Add to that the quality very different than they were last year. Unfortunate because they were amazing, comfortable shoes.
L and R felt like different sizes -- Left was much larger, especially in heel. But great arch support, for a ballet flat
Arrived worn at the bottom, scuffed on the sides and not in an original box.
Sides have no structure. Bow out oddly with movement
Too tight in toe box. I don’t do well with EU sizing. 5-5 1/2 too small(toe box) 6-6 1/2 too big. (heel area)
I love these ballet flats and can wear them all day. Birdies are great.
Very pretty and very comfortable. Not too dressy. You can dress up or down. I’ll get a lot of wear out of these flats.
I first ordered the Hummingbird velt which I returned-it was too dressy and it did feel a bit too large. I reordered this leather flat and it's perfect. Looks great and fits very well. I typically order a 7.5 M which this is. I love this shoe. I have one other Birdie which I also love. Comfor and style.
