Wraps my feet leather, with a bit of a heel, and nicely padded sole. They fit with bare feet and only a thin socks. The look is a bit boho but it added to a wide leg, plain green linen pant well.

Ordered my normal size 9 had to return for an 8.5 and they fit perfect.

This was a very stiff boot and just didn't feel comfortable on the short walk in the house. My rule if it doesn't feel great on the initial wear, return it. This boot was cute, just didn't feel good on my skinny old foot.
