These shoes didn't even last 6 months before the eyelets and draw cord started to wear out and break. Do not recommend.

This shoe looks and feels great, however it is definitely 'weak' on the rear of my ankle. The back of my foot feels like it is going to slip out of the shoe a lot. It just feels like there's nothing back there securing the lower ankle area. Other than that it's a solid designed shoe with great traction. I don't go hiking but instead use this in-city because I walk around 15-20 miles/week. For that they're great, other than my feet feeling like they'll 'pop out' sometimes with the path before me...

These are good for water resistance and sure footed hiking, but are not very comfortable. the most uncomfortable part is the shape of the upper near the ankle. the shape of the upper makes painful contact with the ankle bone and is not desirable.

Disappointed. I thought when I bought these I would be standing on lightstrike foam. Instead my heel was sitting in it meaning that the lightstrike foam was around my foot and not under it. Pretty useless for comfort when you are basically walking on the rubber of the hiking outsole with a thin insole in between. But no foam…. Pretty deceiving design.
