Nice looking boot until you put on. Felt like wearing slip on rubber boots and the rear ankle strap design rubbed ankle leaving red marks. Maybe made for a taller person with heel that would be taller and hit at that point.. not sure. Poor design and sized up another half size to try. Same issue. Bummed as it is hard to find wide calf and the rear zipper was great for calf comfort. 16 diameter, toe area a bit snug, and inner ling very warm and soft. Mixed feelings!

Fit seemed great til I tried to walk in them. I'm no longer used to higher heels, and the heavy soles almost tripped me testing briefly on carpet at home. They aren't really dressy enough to wear with dresses and skirts for my style. But they have very cosy lining, and the shafts were narrow enough for my legs, yet there is a 2nd zipper at the back of the boot that allows extra room for those with a wider calf. Very well-designed boots, but just not for me.
