Super soft and plenty of room in the toe box. Ankle stapler is very close to ankle so you can't just slip them on, but you can slip them off.

There is a bit of rubbing on the top of my foot and heel. They may stretch and give a bit, but for the price it is not worth the risk of keeping to find out.

I ordered several different pairs of square-toe Mary Janes and these were my favorites. The patent leather is real leather, so it's soft and not overly shiny. I like that the toe box is a little longer and doesn't show toe cleavage (or bunions). Unfortunately, since they only come in whole European sizes, 37 worked for one foot but was too tight for the other one, and 38 would definitely be too big. Lovely shoes!

The right shoe bothered my foot. Otherwise, I would have kept them. I’m sad to say I think the ballet style shoe is going to be a no for my feet.
