Would buy again: My new go to shorts. The material on these shorts is perfect for day to day use or for long hikes. Very lightweight and easy to pack.

Sizing is WAYYYY off.. I have 30W North Face shorts that are nearly identical to these, those 30W shorts are now a bit too loose since I've lost about 10lbs since I bought them. I bought these in a 29W which are extremely similar to the 30W shorts I have.. They're both black, 7" shorts. Pretty much identical. But these fit way too tight.. There should not be such a distinct difference in 1 size between the same brand, of the same item. How is a 30W loose and a 29W tight? Make it make sense North Face! I added some photos of the shorts, you can see that they aren't the EXACT same shorts. But extremely similar, they're both even made from the exact same materials (94% Nylon, 6% Elastane, 100% Polyester pockets) and in the same place (Indonesia). If you notice the black shorts I currently own, there is a lot of pilling going on.. I take of my clothes pretty well and bought these in June of this year, just 3 months ago. I've washed them maybe 4-5 times and they've already faded and are pilling a ton which is why I wanted a new pair. I really like these shorts, love the pockets having zippers and that they dry very quickly, but they do not hold up very well. I saw these were on a good sale price, so I jumped on the deal. I would absolutely not buy these at full price.
