The shoes fell apart in one months time from receiving and wearing. Attached are the picture of both sandals. One the ankle strap completely broke and the other is hanging on by threads. The last picture attached is you can see that the treads are not worn out at all as they were barely worn. It is so disappointing as I like the shoe but they fell apart so quickly. I would appreciate a full refund on these very defective shoes. Thank you.
It took me a while to figure out how to use the straps correctly. Once I did, the shoe felt wonderful. It has the support of a Hoka sneaker and the coolness and comfort of a sandal. This is now my favorite sandal.

I really liked these. The straps seemed reasonable to me, unlike what I've read from other reviews. Wish they were capable of road running vs just hiking. Hoka - please make a sandal runner.
Poorly designed straps mar an otherwise excellent sandal. I love the color, design and foot comfort. Sandal is true to size. Arch support is a tad thin but is at least present. Treads seem to grip well, though because they have multiple little 'cleats' in the tread design, I'm unsure of how long they might last even though they are Vibram. Now the elephant in the room, the strap design. I feel like these sandals were made for Hobbits. Unless you have a hugely thick meaty foot, the straps are too long and thus dangle out beyond the shoe. I have size 11 wide feet, but my feet are thin rather than thick. Because of that, I have to cinch the straps down significantly and they end up flopping around. I might cut them off with scissors...but as of yet haven't since it would mar the good looks. Lastly the dangle strap on the back closes to the outside, rather than the inside, so I occasionally unstrap myself by grazing a low-level object with my foot. Otherwise, they are excellent and I do not plan to return them.
These sandals are very nice. I liked the strap system and comfort. I unfortunately returned because I thought they were running sandals but they're more a hiking / camp sandal.
Overall this sandal is surprisingly comfortable. I have never owned a pair of HOKA shoes. I would recommend sizing down at least one half size.
Love these. Where to begin…looking for hoka comfort in sandals? These won’t disappoint. The next thing is they have straps to adjust fit but also a clip on the side so you can take them off and on sliding out the side of the shoe. Compared to all other sandals, this is like quickly entry. Style is fantastic. I think most sandals look a bit ugly, not these. Already put on 10 miles in these since getting them a couple days ago. Zero regrets.
