Not the jacket I was expecting: Not at all water resistant. In a light rain it's soaked right through. Also, the shell doesn't feel as substantial as I recall on earlier models. I'm sending it back.

I love this jacket! I bought a very similar LL Bean jacket over 25 years ago, and it is still going strong. So glad to have found it this year in the LL catalog. It is much warmer than they say. Good down to the mid 30s. Perfect for New England November days. I always wear it with the fleece against my body, and the nylon side out. But it would look good the other way too.

Too Small! Ordered large, which is my normal size, and large size in that jacket is too small over most shirts!
