I would definitely recommend this for 1/2 marathon and down (I've never run a marathon). Light, quick and snappy. One of the more enjoyable shoes I've run in recently. For me personally it definitely run a half size short.

Bouncy SCF-TPU midsole with excellent resiliency. Transitions feel smooth and the shoe works for long runs because of its lightness and ample cushioning. There is not plate so the shoe keeps you honest. The knit upper is comfortable but a too roomy resulting in some longitudinal bunching in the tongue underneath the laces. But this is mostly cosmetic. The midsole cavity creates a trampoline effect that, while not as propulsive as a carbon plate, adds a bit more bounce and fun to the ride. The outsole traction is only so-so because the groves run lengthwise reducing the potential grip. I like the heel loop which seems almost obligatory for a stretch knit upper. Since the midsole is TPU I expect this shoe to last me several hundred miles.
I would buy the product again:) Extremely comfortable, especially on long work days!
lightest, Funnest, fastest shoe ever: Have loved racing in this. I would recommend a half size up. It is the perfect combination of out-of-this world light+fast, while still being intuitive and feeling natural.
New favorite racing shoe! Man, this shoe is light, bouncy, and has me ready to run faster than ever! I love the upper, and the tongue is super thin for maximum speed but still hits the top of my foot in the right places. Feel like these can rip at any distance, but especially shine at 5k-half marathon. Fits slightly small, would recommend going up half a size but if you like a snugger fit it's perfect. Very happy with these and have the race results to back it up. Great work, Mizuno!
New Favorite Shoe: These are unreal. So light, but still so cushioned and springy. Definitely can hold up for any distance and PR. I would recommend going up a half size from most models - I wear a 11 in the Neo Zen and went with a 11.5 in this.
Shoes fit well, but I didn’t realize that they were different colors - one shoe is blue and another orange. Just a bit too fashion forward for me.
