I have orthotics & can't find wide enough shoes in womens so I was trying these mens. The have 3 layers in sole so I can remove as many as need which is a plus. The shoe length was shorter due to extra material for zipper I think but not sure. I wear womens 9 and got a men's 7 1/2 that was suggested by orthotics person. I found the zipper difficult to zip up when foot was in it. Width was good. I will return and try a different style. I would have bought another pair of Easy Spirit that are comfortable and fit perfect but they don't have my size in that style now. If you find a shoe you love, stock up cuz you may not be able to get them in the future!
