Comfort for long hikes: Bought for trip to Iceland. Extremely comfortable for hikes!

Super comfortable hiking shoe: Love how it provided traction and comfort on long technical hikes.

Very comfortable- order a larger size: I prefer wider toe boxes and when I ordered my size my toes were very cramped in this narrow toe box. I ordered a full size larger and it's been perfect- oddly not to long either. Very comfortable and I was surprised by how light they feel. They didn't take much to break them in.

Wide size has roomy forefoot and is very stable: Wide size is super comfortable for a wide foot. Shoe feels very stable and "grippy". Waterproofing was effective.

Solid hiking shoe, easy to break in: Very comfortable and with minimal breaking-in handled some very rocky long treks out of the gate comfortably.

Comfortable Day 1: This is my third pair of Salomon X Ultras - every pair has been comfortable right out of the box with little to no break-in time required. They have been a great light weight, water resistant boot for hiking, backpacking, and hunting for me.

Best generation so far. I've had a ton of the x ultras. The x ultra 5 is the best I've had.

Comfortable off the bat, but runs small! I usually get a size 7 and have had a pair of boots from Salomon for years but when I hiked with these my toes hit the front. Not fun.

Stays waterproof, comfortable and zero issues: I bought this shoe to use as a duty boot for work. From hot humid weather to freezing wet conditions they have had zero issues and are wearing very well. This is the second pair of Salomon hikers I have purchased and recently ordered a third pair to use it training for a 5K mountain challenge next year!
