These shoes immediately felt like they were on the narrow side and footbed wasn’t very cushy. It was an immediate no from a comfort perspective and I returned them. Style looked fine, a bit dated and not as sporty as I was hoping for but had they been comfy I would not have cared. I also ordered pickleball or tennis court shoes from Adidas, On, ASICS, and New Balance. I’m a new player and am not super competitive, so I value comfort and stability over professional performance. I ended up with the Hoka Kawana because it’s their only model with lateral support. It’s not a court shoe and doesn’t have the best tread pattern for courts, but it’s the only one that was immediately comfortable and had just enough width that I didn’t feel squished. Extra context: I’ve had my feet scanned at the local running store so I know my accurate size and am not guessing. Hokas are my favorite running and everyday sneaks for their cushion and immediate comfort.
