Great socks! These are great as hiking socks but I have also worn them with my "walking" shoes. They have just the right amount of padding.

Love these socks: A friend introduced me to Darn Tough socks a few years ago. My first and other pairs are still going strong, and I expect no less from this one. I love the tight knit on all of them!

Not my first pair: I've been wearing darn tough socks for almost 6 years. These were replacement socks after 5 years of wearing and washings. Darn tough Vermont are the best and honor their guarantee. They also are the only socks that have lasted for my husband. I had to constantly buy socks for him. It didn't take long before the heels and toes had holes in them but with darn tough he's now been wearing them for about 4 years and no holes.
