Straps come up on bottom of ankle

I was looking for a shoe for plane trips - my feet always expand, and for years I had Propet sandals that had velcro closures over the foot and in the ankle strap. I needed a new pair, but that model had been discontinued. Model Gemma is similar - the width is adjustable. The shoe is very comfortable, and nice looking as well. They will serve me well.

The fit was great which is not always the case when trying to buy shoes for a wide foot. I dislocated my ankle 2 years ago and absolutely have to have support in shoes. These shoes gave me that support while also giving me a much cooler shoe for summer.
