It was too tight around the top of foot.

The shoe collar was too high on my ankle, rubbing against the lateral malleolus. I could add extra inserts to raise the hight of my heal, but that meant the depth was inadequate in front, and across my upper foot and and hammer toes rubbed against the top of the shoe.

The velcro strap is just for appearance. I wanted the strap to hold my foot more snuggly but then the strap does not line up with the velcro's strip. My baby toe needs more room. I loved the color and style but I can't wear them.

These shoes are very comfortable for my 10WW feet. And they accommodate my prescription orthotics. They look good with capris, dress, skirt, and slacks. I wish they had other colors.
