I absolutely love these leopard flats! So very chic! My husband even complimented them which took me by surprise. He usually doesn’t notice such things! Beautiful, comfortable and true to size.

Exquisite shoe! Beautiful, stylish and oh so comfortable, what more can you ask for! I can’t wear dressy kitten heels/low heels anymore (due to bad knees and back) & needed a dressy flat for a formal gown… this was it! The mesh and velvet style along with the pointed toe is exactly what I needed! I’ve worn an 8.5 the last 30-40 years and this fit as to length and width of an 8.5. The pointy toe is a ‘tiny bit’ longer than many of my other pointed toe flats but does not take away from the beauty of this shoe. The cushioned footbed is a major plus, though there is no real arch support. It was a bit more than what I was expecting to spend but I didn’t find many black ‘flat shoes’ to be dressy enough for what I needed, so to me they were worth it!

What more could you ask for in this Birdies shoe… beauty, style & comfort! I ordered my regular size 8.5 and they were so comfortable that I thought ‘maybe they were a tad big’ that I could size down to an 8. The 8 was true size for an 8 and snug on my foot… so I kept the 8.5! Having bad knees and can’t wear even a kitten heel shoe… these flats will be worn with my Mother of the bride formal gown! The mesh and velvet style just elevate them so much as a flat shoe… they are truly gorgeous!

Looks wise these are a 10+. The leopard calf hair is really nice, although the spots are a little different on one shoe than the other, but that's typical with a leopard print. If keeping I'd just try another pair and keep best of the two. The print difference was minor as I didn't immediately notice it. The bows on toe box literally glisten, very pretty. The problem is how the shoe feels. One rubbed a little on side toe, not severely, perhaps the shoe would break in. But the strange part was how unsupportive they felt on the sides. They feel like there are no sides. I had to look down to see how high the side came up since it seemed not to be there. Maybe that is a width issue - being too wide??? Since the front and heel areas are definitely not too wide, I selected "Felt true to width" here. It's the middle area that has zero support. Also, when I saw the quilted foot bed I thought, Oh these are going to be comfy!! To my surprise, they feel like something is inside the shoe that doesn't belong, particularly the arch area. You can see where it is sewn different, outlining an arch whereas the other sewing is a quilted pattern, perhaps the arch pad is in the wrong spot or just too high (and I have a high arch so don't need support) but I could feel it hitting the bottom of my arch area of my foot like a lump in the shoe. Very odd feeling foot bed, it doesn't hurt but feels annoying. I tried them on again since they are super cute, but they just feel way off with zero sense of side support and lumpy feeling foot bed. So back they go, sadly!
