Disappointed yet again with Dyson products. Had to return this because it made my hair dry and frizzy. Definitely not suitable for curly hair!

I honestly don’t see the difference between this and my revlon. I was excited for the shape to get my roots better and even that was disappointing. It also still caught/ ripped my hair out. I wanted to love it so debating if I should give it another try or return.

I have fine long hair, tangles and drying turns to frizz. I purchased the Dyson as it was an option I could afford opposed to the airwrap and other lines. At first I wasn’t sure I liked it and it took using it a few times to get used to the difference it makes! It’s so gentle and distributes heat evenly, zero pulls or snags and quiet compared to my old Chi’ blower. The air smooth doesn’t cook your hair and basically made silk out of my strands.

I love this tool! It works so well on both dry and wet hair and it’s so easy to clean and manage. I get way less breakage too compared to other devices so this is a no brainer products for me. Love it!

I was really surprised by this product. I wasn’t expecting to be that into it bc of mixed reviews online + the Dyson air wrap never did much for me. I used it on the highest power setting and lowest heat setting - it did everything it promised it would. Wet to dry, smooth, stretched, silky smooth. The bristles were perfect! Never once got caught in my hair, nor did they tug. It glided smoothly. With the airwrap I constantly had one of two probs: either the attachment wouldn’t grab all the hair or it would get stuck and the attachment would rip out. I saw some people say that you can’t dry your roots with this tool. I disagree. Due to the shape I was able to dry my roots very easily! Another point - I used it on the lowest heat setting. I have never been able to achieve anything with my hair with the lowest heat setting on any hair tool! I just wanted my hair straight-ish with volume today. I’m sure you can achieve some nicer looks at a higher heat setting! I’m not good enough with hair to say whether this could give you a good blowout. I’m not confident it could. But then again, it doesn’t say that it’s for a blowout. Perhaps on a higher heat setting and more patience than me. Also, I have Indian 2cish hair. It’s coarse when curly, very smooth and silky when styled. I think this is a great product for people with coarse hair. If you have naturally smooth / straight hair, I don’t think this product is worth it for you. This product is a great tool to smoothen your hair without nearly as much damage as a flat iron + also give you volume!

I have straight hair and I received this from Dyson. Definitely works as a 2in1 blow dryer where I don’t have to use a round brush it’s very interesting and easy to use. I don’t have any waves or curls to my hair. Definitely gives a light curl to my bottom bottoms.

OK, this is a great tool if you want a beautiful blowout, but this is especially good if you don’t have very very frizzy hair. It’s also the type of tool that doesn’t damage your hair with excessive heat.

For reference, I have fine, thin hair. For straightening my bob, this tool made things so much easier than tools where you have to constantly swap out attachments. I could dry, straighten, and curve the ends under all in one step without stopping to switch heads, which cuts down styling time. My absolute favorite part, though, is that my fine hair stayed smooth and grease-free for days after using it. Since it doesn’t have interchangeable heads, it’s really best for anyone who wears their hair the same way every day rather than changing up their style (but it's cheaper, so that's also a plus). I also appreciate that it comes with a cover so the bristles don't get bent in my drawer, but the cover itself is the cheapest part of the whole setup. It feels like it could break at any moment, and I want to keep this device in good condition.

I have very mixed feelings about this brush. I do like it, but I honestly don’t feel like it delivers what it advertises, especially for the price. Minus two stars for airflow and tension. The airflow doesn’t feel strong enough for wet-to-dry styling, especially if you have a lot of hair. What surprised me is that the heat feels extremely strong, but the airflow itself doesn’t. I wish it had stronger airflow without having to rely so much on heat. And honestly, I don’t think you’re going to get a good result using only the cool airflow, at least I definitely didn’t. I also don’t think the brush grabs enough hair compared to other dryer brushes I’ve used. It doesn’t create enough tension on my hair to really smooth it out and give me that polished blowout finish. But this is also one thing I actually like about it. My hair doesn’t really get caught or snagged in the brush, and I barely see any hair left in the bristles after using it. So it does feel much gentler on my hair with less pulling and breakage. I have a lot of wavy/curly hair, and I honestly don’t think this is the best dryer brush for people with medium to thick, dense, curly, or coily hair. It might work much better if you have fine hair or don’t have a lot of hair. For $249, I really wanted the finished result to be close to a salon blow dry. I don’t expect it to be exactly the same as a professional blowout, but for this price, I expected better airflow, better tension, and a smoother finish. Overall, I don’t hate it at all. There are things I really like about it, especially how gentle and snag-free the brush feels. But the drying power and final result just aren’t what I expected. Why is it so hard to find a really good dryer brush for people with a lot of thick, wavy or curly hair? 😭 I really wanted to love this one, but for me it’s definitely a mixed feeling.

I absolutely LOVE this Airsmooh! I love that it dries my hair quick but also makes my hair look so soft. The amount of volume I’m able to get to with the rounded brush. Head is amazing. This is for sure my new favorite hair tool!
