I am totally obsessed with this dematting brush, I wish I had owned one way sooner. It untangles hair on my Maltese, even the toughest mats, and is the first brush she kinda doesn’t mind too much (she doesn’t like brushing, which I suspect is because we used the wrong slicker brush for her whole life unfortunately). It can be used as a normal brush, it simply won’t trim anything off if there are no mats. iherb has the best price for this brush (I bought it on sale for about 13$). Highly recommended - I’ve already got my friend to get one for her dog and continue to recommend it to others.

I’ve bought 4 of these! I like to have one in every room that me and my dog hang out!! That way, if I feel the slightest knot, I can nip it in the bud. The results are beautiful flowing hair on my Gordon Setter!

This de-matting comb has been really effective for breaking through tangles and mats without pulling too hard on the coat. The dual thumb grips make it comfortable to hold, and it works well whether you're left or right-handed. The stainless steel blades are sharp enough to cut through matted fur but are designed to stay clear of the skin, so I haven't had any nicks or scrapes. Works best when you comb in the direction of hair growth, starting from the outer edge and working inward — makes the whole process a lot quicker. Good build quality for the price.

This brush looks fantastic for long-haired matted dogs. Too big for my for my little 5 kg Moodle puppy . So I haven’t used it. Quality looks great. It’s quite a large size. Well packaged
