[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 2 for replacing an older cloth set of pot holders. These have nice grip, pockets that fit not petite hands, and glad I went with the red color so that these are easily identifiable in the kitchen drawer or cluttered counter top.
Perfect for my small space! Works as a pot holder and a trivet. OXO makes the best quality kitchen gadgets. Even though I miss the magnet on the back of the pot holder, the rubber loop works just fine on a magnetic hook.
Bought to replace old version of these pot holders. Unfortunately the new ones are much more flimsy! Unsure if these will stand up to high heat.
They're comfortable even for little hands like mine, durable, washable , easy to use on everything . wish they still had the cobalt blue color. nothing anyone's ever gotten me has been an adequate replacement to these. Make more not less Oat??? seriously not a great color for a pot holder.
When I bought a pair of black/dark gray OXO oven mitts 20+ years ago, I passed on the holder/table protector. With a teak table the need for a quality large potholder for hunder steaming hot food became immediately apparent.
Love these so much, we have four of them! Great for hot pot handles or for getting items out of the oven. Washes well in cold water, hang to dry.
A little unwieldly to handle, given the size. Great size to place your items on, but strong likelihood of them getting into your food as you move items in/out of oven.

What happened to the magnets that were in previous models? I bought these for years. With the magnets? 5 Stars. They wear well and they keep your hand cool in the hottest of conditions. But the magnets were such a nice touch. I guess I could try these and then glue some magnets to them.....
I’m used to a silicone mitt, so this is an awkward design—like slipping you hand into an envelope. The silicone itself is a little thinner than a mitt too. It works, but I prefer a mitt.
