I happened to purchase these knives on sale and couldn’t be happier. The set doesn’t include a bread knife so I purchased one separately (also on sale). At the end of the day, I can highly recommend these knives at the sale price!
The package arrived as retaped, and the wood stand has clear sign of usage, where the paint at the corners are damanged. The quality of the blades is uneven and low quality.
Item is beautiful however looses sharpness quickly
The look of this knife set is gorgeous. The cuttability of these Japanese knives are exceptional with a feel and balance that's second to none.
The set is a beautiful display on the kitchen counter. The knives are sharp and beautifully made.
So far so good. Knife works good. Very sharp. Nicely designed and made to be durable. Magnetic holder is a great idea.
sharp and beautiful. I totally recommend them .
These are such impressive knives! I had been looking for a set of knives for years and could not find one that was both stylish and sharp. These Cuisinepro knives are incredible! They are great quality, the handles feel perfectly weighted and the grip is comfortable. The knife blades are very sharp and will make your food prep a breeze. I get so excited to prep food now! Not to mention, the look is absolutely beautiful. I was always apprehensive about getting magnetic knife sets because I was afraid of the magnets not being strong enough and having the knives fall. The magnets on the Cuisinepro Damashiro Emperor base are so strong and give me the piece of mind having this set in my kitchen. So happy with my purchase and grateful Macy's had this product!
I am a French chef with over 45 years experience and I’ve used every knife under the sun. Don’t get me wrong. I love a lot of my knives for particular jobs but these knives I bought because I read the description well and the reviews and Wala they are exactly what I had hoped for. Impeccable, construction, and quality for the money. Even though they are expensive, I know.
