The lamps are beautiful I am disappointed they do not turn on when you touch the base, I read the reviews and it was stated about the base turn on, but that is not a feature.

The lamps are beautiful. However, only one works propertly. They have a dimmer switch, meaning when you turn it on, you can control the brightness. One lamp works as expected. The other lamp stays only at the dimmest position.
