I bought this bag thinking is an airline fit suitcase, but unfortunately was too big to carry as a carry on bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought the Thule Chasm along for a cross-country road trip (Denver-Maryland-up to New York) and then used it as a carry-on for a flight to the Dominican Republic—and it fit everything I needed, keeping it dry and contained. The material is super sturdy and easily withstood being tossed around in and out of rental cars, overhead bins, and sandy hotel rooms. I also really like the calming color (easy to spot) and the handle design, which makes it comfortable to pull through airports or grab quickly out of a trunk. It’s compact enough to fit in an overhead bin but still has plenty of space for both wedding attire and beach attire for a full week. One thing to note: it only has wheels on one side. While that means fewer things that can break, it makes adding luggage on top a little harder to navigate. The main zipper is durable and I like that its tucked under a flap, keeping everything weather resistant - especially nice when traveling in the tropics with frequent passing rain. Bonus, it's made from 100 percent recycled materials. This is a durable pack that's gonna last a lifetime. Hope my kids like "pond grey"!

The quality is what we’ve come to expect from Thule. Sturdy fabrics and zippers and it looks like it will hold up really well. Haven’t traveled with this yet, but plan on using it a lot this year.
