First, I ordered this online and it did not fit me, so I cannot comment on durability. The return in-store was pain free. However, I can comment on the fit and fabric. The fabric is lovely. It has light boning at the waist and luxurious drape and crinkly substantial feel. It has no give, however, which is where the fit comes in. The straps and bodice need to lay "just so" to prevent huge gaping. You have to have a particular bust shape for this dress to work, and sadly I did not have that shape. If you order this dress without being able to try it on, allow time for a return and more searching for your perfect dress--just in case.

It is a pretty dress, the fabric is light weight and the color is nice. The dress fits well, but I will have to adjust the straps. I did size up one dress size.

I bought this dress for my son's wedding. The fit is fabulous on my 5'7, 220lb, 46 B apple shaped body. The dress hits midway between my ankle and knee making it tea length. The weight of the fabric makes it perfect for summer as it is light weight. The fabric is difficult to describe, but sort of like a textured satin/nylon feel. It has a bit of a retro 1950's vibe (which I love) and I bought a 2 layer crinoline/petticoat to go underneath, which looks amazing. I bought the navy and it is a very deep black navy color. I am wearing a sheer, cropped chiffon shrug to have a bit of arm coverage. Overall, I am very pleased with this dress, as I usually hate the way most dresses fit my plus size body. This one is a keeper and I am considering ordering the red to put up for another occasion.

Love the dress. It is so well made. I did return it because I bought the wrong size.
