This stuff is AMAZING and I could feel the difference

Unfortunately, taking Berberine every day had a very uncomfortable side effect. Not to get to graphic, but it consistently upset my stomach and caused cramping and diarrhea. I took only a half dose for about a week before ramping up to the full dose and took it for about a month with no improvement in these symptoms. I do take other supplements from Wholesome Story without any issues, so I think it might be more the actual ingredient than the supplement quality, but be warned, this can lead to some pretty significant digestive discomfort.

My partner and I both started this about a week ago. I have a really big issue with sweets cravings and he just wanted to slim down some of his winter weight. Neither of us are large but diabetes runs in both our families. We each take 3 capsules daily spread throughout the day and I was 151 pounds when starting and I'm somehow down to 144? I'm assuming it just help me shed a bunch of water weight because I don't physically look any different but I feel lighter and my partner has said the same. We feel like its a lot easier to resist sugary/greasy foods now. My sugar cravings prior to taking this were almost like nicotine addiction... Sounds dramatic but I'm serious. i would start thinking about sweets and couldn't stop till I got some. I haven't had that issue at all since!!! It's been super helpful and we will be continuing it. my only worry is that it will lose effectiveness over time but hopefully that doesn't happen.

It’s hard to actually know if this is making real change in my body—but I will say that since taking this I got my first period in a year and stopped spotting all the time. I take this and myo-inositol everyday. I used to take just myo-inositol and am noticing way more of a difference in cravings, PCOS symptoms, and weight management with the Berberine added!! I saw these changes after a month of taking it consistently.

Berberine has helped lower my blood sugar, but get a different brand that has no taste. It bothers my weak GI system if I don’t take it after eating a bit of my meal, it brought my A1C down from pre/diabetic to normal. But there are plenty of good brands that have no taste vs the bitter taste of these.

I started this product off slow with a week of one capsule, then a week of two capsules, so forth until I got to the suggested serving. I think this helped my stomach adjust because it’s usually finicky and I didn’t experience GI issues. After two months of not menstruating, I got my period a few days after adding berberine and myo & d-chiro to my regimen (no other changes). I continued taking the myo & d-chiro but I fell off the berberine and my period did not come. Within a few days of picking back up the berberine near my next expected period, my cycle started again. I have PCOS and sometimes it’s just exhausting having to constantly think about what I’m eating and how it will effect my bloating, cycle, acne.. I feel like this product has taken the edge off that for me. I don’t know if it is the berberine itself or the mixture of the two supplements but sugar and artificial flavors no longer taste as good to me when I take these supplements. My beloved little Debbie brownies now taste like a chemical wasteland. I’m not complaining, I’ve been trying to escape the vice grip of those little buggers since childhood. I am taking a star away because the capsules seem to struggle to hold the powder leaving everything coated in the bitter taste of berberine and leaving my hands tinted after touching them.

Diagnosed with PCOS and recently type 2 diabetes. Have been taking this paired with myo inositol for the past 3.5 months and have successfully lost 34 pounds and dropped A1C down .6 points. I take it with dinner and it does not give any negative GI side effects. Will continue to purchase!

Been taking 1500mg for over 30 days now and can say that it really changed the game. It suppressed my hunger so I can follow my meal plan without straying. I’m not sure if it’s a coincidence or not but my period was also almost not noticeable (crampwise) this month. Will continue to purchase and use!!

I was having trouble conceiving (2.5yrs after two miscarriages) I was put on clomid after 3 months and nothing I talked to my OBGYN about other possibilities bc she said if I didn’t conceive on my next round they would refer me to a specialist.
