Excellent for pasta entrees and stews
I purchased these bowls to serve pasta entrees and stews (specifically, seafood gumbo). It is a wise investment.

Excellent for pasta entrees...
I purchased the dinner bowls for pasta recipes I found in old cooking magazines. The bowls are definitely useful when hosting a dinner party (and pasta dishes are the entrees). I am able to give generous portions without worrying about sauce spilling on the placemats or table. I look forward to using these bowls when I prepare seafood gumbo. A wise long-term investment.
