I have a black tie wedding in New York in mid September. As a woman of a certain age, I was looking for an A line dress with a little bit of flash, this dress looked perfect! First I bought it in Large from another vendor, but the large was very large. So I bought the medium here at Macy’s, but it is 3-4 inches smaller around than the large. Too small. I wonder if I received a small, though the dress is marked medium. Also note that the sleeves slightly bell at the wrist. I could have lived with that, I really wanted this dress, it’s pretty hard to find a formal dress that doesn’t emphasize the waist. But it just doesn’t work. Attention Dress Designers! There is a generation of women who don’t have a perfect waistline. How about more dresses for us?!
