Good luck having your Deuter Utilion stand upright on end as advertised. This pack will fall forward from merely looking at the product wrong due to its high center of gravity, ridged backing and non existent bottom. It would be helpful if they included a rigid bottom insert to go with this model. Other issues include: - Side pocket is non-elastic and you will have issues fishing things out of it. Will not take a water bottle of any size. - Zipper access to main storage is very rigid, constantly fighting to get things in/out of storage through zippered portion. - Forced to use clip access because zipper is useless. Constantly curling and uncurling this extra material for what? - The slack bag at the bottom...this is a gimmick at best and is a nuisance. - Hanger strap is too stiff, cant even get my hand under the strap to lift the bag. Its a very comfortable day pack when its in position on shoulders. That is where the convenience and comfort of this pack ends. I've been fighting this pack for over a year in more ways than are mentioned above and am simply done with this product.
