Macy's has a gifted photographer. This looks more like something my great-grandmother would have worn, and it comes down to my ankles almost. Very heavy material, and pretty with the color fade in the skirt, but I think it's for someone a good 20 years older than me, and I'm a good 30 years older than the model.

Got size 2 dress couple weeks ago. Very beautiful and elegant dress but not true to the normal size. Supposed to be tight on the top but it fits like one size bigger. The belt also too big and not adjustable. I wish DKNY will have the dress in size 0. Not sure if I’ll return it since I really like the look of the dress

This is a great dress for professional events as well as personal gatherings like church or funerals. I can see myself wearing this a lot more in fall and winter, especially because it is a thicker, heavier fabric. I did size down and this dress fit perfectly so I would assume that it runs a little bit large. I also had a lot of room in the waist area so it would be nice if the belt elastic was a bit shorter.

I adore the quality of the dress because it’s not something cheap that could be ruined after a single wash like most fast fashion.

I chose my usual size and unfortunately it ended up being too big. Normally I would be able to get away with it, but since the top part is supposed to fit tight, the bigger size doesn’t look good. Also, the belt is too loose on me. If you’re between two sizes, I would definitely choose smaller. The top material is a bit stretchy and the skirt allows for plenty of room around hips so I would mostly worry about the chest and waist measurements. The belt also has a stretchy part on the back so there’s no concern of it being too small. The dress is really nice and has a good flow to it. The pictures and description said it was black and beige. The beige part has a red/purpleish tone though, which I wasn’t expecting. Otherwise, the belt looks really nice with the dress and holds in place thanks to a few loops on the dress. I feel like if I got the size right, I would really love this dress. For reference, I got size 4, and I am 5’6” and 125 pounds.
