Leather looks very cheap & plastic

The look and style are great. They work at the office with pants or jeans. They feature sturdy construction, good materials, and are sized about right. I have come to expect a lot from Born over the years, and these shoes fall a bit short. They are lacking in padding under the toe box and for some reason my foot slips forward despite different socks or trying with and without arch supports; it is not the type of shoe to wear barefoot. When my foot slips forward the toes get crunched and my elbow bone gets rubbed by the top of the shoe. It is perfectly fine for low walking days at the office; however the reason I invested in a Born shoe was because I needed a closed toe, foot, heel option to wear on my high walking days. It will be fine for casual days and low walking days, but lacks the comfort found in most Born shoes.

I loved these shoes from the second I put them on. I love every Born shoe I've ever bought. It's like they specially make their shoes for me. The fit was true to size, the arch support is great, and they were comfortable all day long. I would definitely recommend any shoe made by Born!

Shoes are awesome, absolutely love this style and heel height. Will be my winter go to for a shoe with dress pants and jeans. Very comfortable from day 1...

These look a little more boot-like on than I would have liked, but the main problem with them is they are strangely tight across the top. I have worn them several times now and the top of my foot begins to ache after about an hour to the point that I have to take them off several times at my desk throughout the day. Disappointing as I usually really like Born shoes.
