My dad is love this oil-free moisturizer! He has sensitive skin and tends to avoid anything that feels heavy or greasy—this one checks all the boxes. It absorbs quickly, doesn’t leave any residue, and keeps his mature skin feeling moisturized
Doesn’t mattify at all - actually left me more oily than my normal non-mattifying lotion (jack black oil free). Also didn’t moisturize well - my skin was dry and tight after using it.
Bought this for my boyfriend, he has combination skin and around his beard gets dry. This works for a few hours but then you can see the dry skin again. That didn’t happen with his old moisturizer from ole henrikson that was discontinued, so I guess we will keep looking for a new one. I have used it and I don’t have dry skin and it works ok for me
This is a good product. I am the type that will put on moisturizer in the morning and I’ll be shiny by the time I get home from work. This product helps a lot. I’m still a little glowing when I get home, but it’s much better than before and I have noticed that my pores are smaller and I’m less oily on my nose. I’ll definitely keep using.
My husband has very oily skin and this in combination with the charcoal face wash has made a huge difference to make his skin much smoother and take away all the shine he hated. Great product at a reasonable price.
Bought this for my husband and he loves it because he no longer returns home looking like he slathered vaseline on his face. The only issue I have with it is that it doesn't keep him matte for a work day. Perhaps, you're supposed to blot once in a while but I'd probably win the lottery before I ever get him to blot his face.

I bought this for my boyfriend as a gift the first time, but he loves it so much he keeps asking for more! Perfect for his oily skin with our dry Alberta weather.
I got this as a sample elsewhere but I wanted to review it here as well. I found this to be very good for using after washing my face and before adding primer and makeup. It's not very hydrating, only just enough, and it helps keep my very oily skin under control. Then at the end of the day, after I remove all of my makeup and wash my face again, I will apply the Clinique gel moisturizer or Moisture Surge. I am very satisfied with everything I have tried from Clinique that is suited for my oily skin type. This was no exception.
Preferred daily lotion after cleansing face in the morning. Nice consistency, soaks in quickly and fully with no residue and provides all-day oil control (+reduces shine) -- even for a man with oily skin. Hasn't clogged pores either.
