Balance Mode Shine Control & Pore-Minimizing Lightweight Moisturizer for Oily Skin

Best moisturizer for my oily skin. I have tried so many different products for my skin, this one is the best so far.

This product can be deceiving because it leaves a sheen on bare skin. I'm extremely oily, so the last thing I wanted was anything that looked shiny. Since I originally bought this in the mini size I figured I would use it up and not waste it. However I was pleasantly surprised at how it controlled my oil production, especially layered under my makeup. It dries down smooth, not tacky or sticky. It proved to be an excellent base for my makeup to look flawless and the sheen on bare skin ends up giving my post-foundation face a healthy glow. I tried it for a full day at the office, during the summer heat, and was amazed that I did not have to constantly blot my face. With regular use, my skin has changed and is far less oily. I have now bought a full bottle along with the matching cleanser and am loving the results!

I’ve been using this moisturizer both under makeup and in the morning and it has made a big difference for me! I’m naturally very oily and break out prone. Zero issues with this moisturizer. I love it and I will keep using it and I’m surprised about the negative reviews.

I have combo skin and tend to get oily in my T-Zone. I was hoping this would be my holy grail but sadly I feel like it’s been making my face more oily than not. Unfortunately, this product is a pass for me.

this is perhaps the most watery, lightweight moisturizer ever!.... and then, that's it. if you're looking forward for a moisturizer that will additionally do something more for your skin, this is not the one. i have been consistent with this product and i'm not a fan of simply having my skin overproducing oil. i would highly suggest for my oily, acne prone girlies to skip this one.

It feels very hydrating on my skin and yet doesn’t feel sticky or oily. It’s very light weight but somehow I’m a little underwhelmed. Nice on oily skins.

Didn’t prevent my T zone from getting oily. Hate the pump. (Have to press on an exact spot).

No shine control , didn’t really see any benefit . For me there’s better out there

I have combination skin (oily t zone, dry to normal cheeks). It did control the oil production on my forehead pretty well, but I noticed a few small bumps appeared after using it a few times. Unsure if it is related to this, though, and I don't want to jump to conclusions. It did not do enough to moisturize my cheeks and I got dry spots in a few places. If you have completely oily skin, I think this moisturizer will be better for you. This is very lightweight but I think I need something a bit heavier.

I've been trying to find a replacement for the Origins willowherb mattifying moisturizer (RIP) and, after this, my search continues. Bought this on a whim and was hopeful, but ended up tossing it after 1-2 months of AM use. This made my skin more and more oily the more I used it. My pores looked huge and my skin looked more heavily textured, even coming across as such in photos (these were not closeup photos either). My skin was also breaking out a lot, which I thought was just me and not the product. I was even about ready to see a dermatologist. Finally read some product reviews that had similar claims and stopped using it ASAP. My skin has reverted back to normal and is looking better since I stopped using this. 10/10 would NOT recommend for oily, sensitive/reactive, and/or acne-prone skin.
