Long-Wear Waterproof Gel Eyeliner

I really like how smooth and creamy this gel eyeliner is. It glides on easily without looking patchy, and the pigmentation is beautiful—a little product really does go a long way. The Denim Shimmer Ink shade is such a fun alternative to basic black and adds just enough color to make an eye look more interesting without being too bold. Once it sets, it wears really well and stays in place for hours without creasing or fading. I also love that you can use it for more than a traditional liner look. Okay, I'm kind of obsessed with this gel liner. The formula applies so smoothly — no clumping, no dragging, no patchy spots — so whether I want a soft smudged shadow-liner look or something sharp and precise, it just cooperates. It also sets fast, which I appreciate when I'm layering shadow on top or just trying not to smear it all over my lid before it dries. If I want it more opaque I'll usually go over the line twice, or just retrace it once it's set. And even though this thing does not budge once it's on — genuinely smudge-proof, lasts all day — it never gets that dry, cracky feeling some long-wear liners get by hour six. My favorite part might actually be how easy it comes off at night. So many long-wear formulas make you scrub, but this one wipes away without a fight. Too expensive and not BDS friendly- there are many way better products out there.

I’ve had this approximately six months and am very good about capping it tightly. It does smudge if, for example, you are weightlifting and Quincy your eyes shut. It’s easy to use.

I have a hard time applying liners and find I have a lot more control using a product like this with an angled brush. I have hooded eyes and this stays surprisingly well throughout the day. My only gripe is that it dries down in the pot pretty quickly. I wish it lasted longer.

This had been my favorite shade (chocolate shimmer ink) for years. The star off is due to how quickly it dries out before you can even use half the product - would rather have a smaller less expensive option.

Perfect every day eyeliner! Does not smudge or fade throughout the day, and I find gel eyeliners to be easier to apply than liquid for me personally.

This Eyeliner is truly a legend. There are very few products I can say have stayed consistent over the years without changing formula or packaging and this is one of them. It’s intensely pigmented, beautifully matte, and glides on effortlessly every single time. One pot will last you for years. I really hope Bobbi Brown never changes this formula!
