I've been using this mask for YEARS.. It's the ONLY mask I've ever used that makes a visible difference in my skin immediately after using. I've tried a ton of other masks, and nothing makes my skin look the way this one does. My fave!!!!
Might of cleaned my pores a bit, idk it wasn’t drastic like the how I remember the last bottle, maybe a new formulation? It definitely made me dry.
I've been using ORIGINS charcoal mask as part of my skincare routine for the past 5 years, and it's my go-to pore cleansing mask. I have combo skin and was looking for something that would minimize my pores in my t-zone area. I tried using innisfree's volcanic clay mask 2 years ago, which I found didn't work as well and came back to using this. I use it once a week to purify and detox my skin from living in an urban environment. I find it does a great job of minimizing my enlarged pores in my t-zone area, taming my hormonal acne in my chin area, and it also tightens my forehead. My skin becomes really glowy, usually 2 days after use. I definitely see a difference in my pores getting worse if I'm not diligent in using this. I wouldn't recommend this for people with dry skin as it can be drying. I use less during the Fall to Winter transition when my skin tends to freak out and get dry on me.
I bought this when Biore's charcoal scrub was discontinued. I found it is not nearly as effective for clearing pores. Not sure how it compares to other masks though. I have used it several times over the past few months but only see minimal improvements. Will probably stick to cheaper drug store products in the future. I will say though that the Origins odor is not as strong as alternatives, and I like that the tube is clear so you can see how much product is left.

 the charcoal really get in there and clean out all the gunk outw the  pores  usually use this one time per week. It is so good. Leave your skin very soft and smooth…

Every time I use this I get tiny yellow pimples all over my chin. They are painful and last about a week, then my skin peels. Product ended up in the garbage. If you have sensitive skin, beware of this product.
So disappointed to see another company price gouge their clients. The price has almost doubled in the past 5 years. Absurd.
This is a holy grail product for me. I find that if I use this when I can feel a breakout coming on it fully stops the breakout. I have sensitive skin but this never irritates it, just be super gentle rinsing it off. -1 star for the price :(
