I have been using this cleanser since 2021. I have bought who knows how many times but ever since the new one I bought in Dec 2025 I noticed a change in the smell that is absolutely disgusting. I’m waiting for the bottle I have right now to run out so I can stick to the cleanser that’s for acne prone (Breakout Breakup). Such a bummer

it smells so bad now! i’ve been using this for years! now i have to start all over and find something that hopefully works. immediately knew something was off and the disappointment set in. i had to use a different cleanser just to get that smell off my face. please change it back
Fabulous! Great for acne-prone/sensitive skin people! A perfect face wash for when you want simple ingredients and a thorough wash. Love!
This product used to be my holy grail but the formula has changed that. I have used this product for years but now it burns the sensitive areas on my face and has the most horrific smell (almost like cinnamon in the worst way). Please change this back to the old formula.
This is a product that I have bought on repeat, for years! However, as many have said, something has changed with this product and I am so sad! The smell is just weird...I can't put my finger on it. It used to have such a nice, earthy clay smell. And it just doesn't work as well! I'm very disappointed
I can see from the reviews I’m not crazy. I opened a new bottle and immediately noticed a change in color but thought it was my imagination. I used it for 3 days and my face is burning! My skin is very sensitive and I’ve been using this cleanser for years! It was so gentle on my skin and cleaned without stripping. I am in so much pain right now. My face is burning and swollen from the terrible reaction.
I’ve used this face wash since it actually had clay and was in a glass bottle. Came to the comments bc the cinnamon smell plus slight burning on sensitive areas was new??? Looks like I’m not alone in this. SO SAD. this was the best cleanser, why change it SO drastically. So so so sad!
I’ve been using this for years and loved it — why does the new bottle smell like cinnamon and burns my lips?! I returned it and tried again — still cinnamon, not an anomaly. This was tried and true and perfect and now sucks.
