Mini Soft Wash Jelly Cleanser

Very Gentle on My Sensitive Skin, but Still an Effective Cleanser

This is my 6th tube…I use this first as cleansing balm massage all over my face and neck, then add small amounts of water and continuously massage until my eye makeup and mascara is melted then rinse. I have sensitive skin and eyes and this works well.

I feel like the bad reviews are due to not understanding how to use this.. it’s like a first cleanse instead of an oil cleanser. You have to gently rub it on dry skin and then emulsify with water on your face. Then second cleanse. My derm recommended this to me and I couldn’t be happier with the results! It takes my spf and light makeup off very nicely and does not break me out which is huge because I’m extremely acne prone and have rosacea. It also doesn’t sting the eyes!! The only downside is the price ;( cmon Dr. Idriss help us out here.

Absolutely love the Dr. Idriss jelly face wash. It’s one of the few cleansers that leaves my skin feeling clean without feeling stripped or tight afterward. I really appreciate that it’s fragrance-free because I believe skincare doesn’t need added scents, especially when fragrance can cause irritation and sensitivity. You can truly tell it’s pH balanced when using it because my skin feels calm, soft, and healthy after every wash. It works great for my acne-prone skin and layers well with the rest of my skincare routine. Definitely a forever repurchase for me!

I got this as training product (not required to write a review), and I really like this cleanser. I wear a full face of makeup every day and I usually double cleanse but even if I don’t this gets my makeup off. It’s really gentle on the skin and eyes yet actually cleanses well. I can attest that it does not irritate the eyes, as advertised. Thats one of the major things I look for in a cleanser so I’m happy about it. I’ll be recommending this to others!

I was surprised how well this works and am surprised some aren't having great results. It removes my waterproof mascara, spf, etc. in just one cleanse. You have to put it on dry like a balm and work it into the skin to break down the product. Then add a little water as you go before rinsing away. I used to use a cleansing balm and follow up with a gel cleanser. But this leaves my skin feeling clean with no residue, and is extremely gentle, even around my eyes. No double cleanse needed!

My all time favorite cleanser! The formula is amazing and very gentle. As someone with very sensitive skin who is prone to dermatitis around the nose and mouth, I can use this year round without any issues. I see a lot of comments that complain about it not foaming up. In the description and photos, not only does it not claim to foam but it literally tells you not to expect it to! Because of this, I use it as a second cleanse rather than an initial cleanse to take off makeup or spf and it hydrates and nourishes my skin but also makes me feel so clean. I will continue to purchase 10/10! One thing I will note is that the mini can be a bit tricky as I feel the opening where product squeezes out is a bit too big, so you don’t have as much control with how much comes out. The larger bottle does not have that problem though.

My long search for a face wash is over! I developed an allergy to propylene glycol/propanediol so I had to stop using products that I’ve used for years. Every oil cleanser (including cleansing balms, which are basically oil-based cleansers) stripped my skin of moisture and left it super dry, and same with every foaming cleanser I’ve tried, even the ‘gentle’ ones. This cleanser cleans my face and doesn’t dry it out, and I use Tretinoin every night. I don’t wear foundation daily, but I wear several layers of sunscreen (chemical filters) so I still need a good cleanser. Honestly I’m too lazy to do a double cleanse so I’m glad this face wash does the job on its own. If I do wear foundation I’ll do a quick swipe of micellar water before using this face wash. Doesn’t break me out and I haven’t noticed any congestion/comedones which I got occasionally while using oil cleansers since switching to this face wash.

It’s super effective. It gets rid of my makeup easily, it lathers and a little goes a long way. Love this mini for vacations.
