THE BEST for cleaning brushes
Where has this been all my life? I guess I am late to the game on finding this brush cleaner. My first brush I was absolutely amazed. I kept on cleaning, getting more impressed with each brush, especially those caked w foundation. My nose is not sensitive so I did not smell anything, maybe a hint of vanilla. I honestly did not know my brushes could look like new again! I already ordered a larger bottle.

Did my bottle get replaced with paint thinner?! This smells horrible! Yes it works but it is straight chemicals. Leaves a residue. AND the worst is that the bristles from 2 of brushes fell out. One was an expensive brush. Returning asap!!

It works very well. BUT THE SMELL. MY GOD. It’s a fake vanilla smell that does NOT GO AWAY. It’s horrendous. Do not purchase if you have any sensitivity to scent. It’s been lasting days in my bathroom.

Did it clean my brushes better than they ever have? Yes. Does it feel like you’re essentially using paint thinner? Also yes. Took 1/2 the bottle to clean 16 brushes (mostly face) so just not economical in the long run. Maybe for a twice a year deep clean.

Not worth it…
I wasn’t sure if it was me or not but after reading reviews I think it was the product. I believe this also broke down the glue on my brushes. I had the bristles fall out of two brushes immediately after using. I had to use the entire bottle to clean my brushes. I have a lot of brushes but this product gets absorbed easily into the bristles. Also, the scent is very strong. I will not purchase again mostly due to the damage to my brushes and the cost effectiveness of the product.

Works well for cleaning but smell is quite caustic. I also think this should be used with extreme caution. I think this broke down the glue on one of my it cosmetics brushes. After washing all the bristles came out.
