The scent smells lovely, but NOTHING like the perfume. Smells like Christmas to me… when I had it lit, my mom thought the house smelled like trees mixed in with a bit of a pretty scent. The scent throw is really really good. But for the price and how much it doesn’t smell like the cologne, I am only giving it three stars.
It gives an aromatic, clean, and classy scent and makes your rooms feel warm, comfy, and fresh.
Does not smell like the fragrance, was so excited to get this candle as I absolutely love the smell of the handwash, however this does not smell like it, it's very fresh and still a nice smell but not as interesting or as deep as I was hoping for, shame really.
The cologne version of this scent emphasizes the warm, sea salt aspect, while the candle emphasizes the cool, wood aspect. It smells strongly like pine tree. It’s a nice woody candle, but it’s not an accurate representation of the wood sage and sea salt cologne.

Wood save & sea salt is my all time favorite perfume, but I have to say, candle and body cream is not exactly the same scent, or maybe just me. Anyway, still my favorite

I actually really like this candle. As other reviewers have pointed out, it smells slightly different than the cologne. Other reviewers have also commented about the strength of the scent. I have found that the scent fills the room when lighted. If you are used to nauseating strong fragrances, like Bath and Body Works, maybe this candle would be too subtle for you.
So not worth the money. I love this scent, and wear the cologne and body cream everyday. This candle smells like an evergreen tree and is so light you can't even smell it even when you walk by - seriously, it smells nothing like Wood Sage and Sea Salt fragrance. I know Jo Malone fragrances are light - I own a ton of them, but this was super disappointing.
I love this scent and have ordered it many times directly from Jo Malone. The ones from Sephora came with the labels on crooked. The same was true of three bottle of cologne I ordered. Is Sephora selling seconds??? Very disappointed. Can’t give them as gifts as I intended, but will use myself.
