Of all the woodsy evergreen scents on iHerb, this one smells the most like what is expected of "Christmas tree" or an evergreen forest in the North. Most the pine/evergreen types smell a bit more bright and kind of lemony, which are nice but this is more the expected scent. I also used this as a deodorant when my regular deodorant were not working, due to the heat and whatever. One of my favorite essential oils on iHerb.

This is one of my favorite essential oils. This is my second bottle and an incredible natural remedy for coughs sinuses and anything respiratory related. I add a couple drops to a warm bath for my kids and add a couple more drops to their body oils that I apply to their chest and bottoms of their feet to help with the congestion. It has a forest fresh scent. I use it usually paired with a citrus essential oil. The size and quality is great; a little goes a long way. The packaging has always been great from this company. Its benefits me when used as aromatherapy by creating a natural and soothing environment.

Love the Balsam Fir Needle essential oil because of its fresh, woodsy aroma. I use it in my diffuser so I can smell it all day and get that calming effect I get from it. It has the effect of lifting my mood and helps with my breathing issues. I also use it on my muscles when they are sore as it relieves the pain.

When I bought this I was hoping for a similar smell like the christmas scent sticks from a local craft store but it wasn't. It was so fresh like being in the forest. It was *bam*, in a good way, smelling. I am quite glad I got this bottle of balsam fir needle oil and i can not wait to use it on my tree this Christmas or even before that.

I really like the smell of this oil, but it’s not quite what I was going for. I haven’t been able to deduce whether or not that’s because the oil isn’t quite produced in a way that replicates the scent that I am looking for, or if I need to be looking for an entirely different type of “tree“ sent altogether. I’ve tried quite a few and I’m just missing the mark somehow. This is a milder sent. Interestingly, expected it to be quite strong.
