Thickening Lotion

I received this product as a gift for Christmas, but I have been looking for something to help give me back some volume to my hair. I have fine hair, but I used to have a LOT of it. My hair has been thinning ad I get older. This product gave me instant volume after 1 use.

Smells good! Gives my roots a needed lift. I use half a pump on my mid back length hair. Doesn't weigh down my hair or make it greasy like other products do.

I absolutely love this product. It smells so wonderful.It adds shine and volume to my hair. My husband also uses it on his short hair and loves it. I will buy again as soon as I’m finished with this first one

I was really skeptical after reading the reviews but o honestly loved the results. I put it through my hair before blow drying and my hair felt smoother and a little thicker. No greasy or weighed down feeling. Also love that it has proteins in it to improve your hair over time.

First off, I love the smell. It's a really unique smell! I also like the fact that it works. I have very thin hair and it gives it a nice oooff to work with, and a lot of volume. Happy my hair

I started out not loving this product, but now I really like it. I have a short bob cut with a ton of fine hair. My hair gets straighter when it’s humid, not frizzy. I use this with a volumizing mousse and it is amazing on my hair. To be fair, I always have to use more than one styling product, so I don’t expect this to do everything. I switch between this, Living Proof Thickening Lotion, and Bumble and Bumble thickening spray, but this adds some shine that the others do not.

I have very fine, long, straight hair, in good condition. I used a dime-sized amount from roots to ends. I had some volume but not a lot. I think if I keep this product I am going to have to try using a different stying spray for roots and using this product on the lengths only. It gives a soft, conditioned feel but all I was really hoping for some substantial volume, which it didn't provide. The silicone high up in the ingredients listing should have tipped me off as to the results but against my better judgement I purchased this anyway. When will companies learn that a high amount of silicone helps provide comb-through for fine hair but totally defeats the purpose of adding volume!!! There's better ingredients for fine hair than silicones. Will not purchase again. The best product in my opinion was AG Thickkening Lotion, which has been discontinued. You could use this from roots to ends and have massive, all-day volume without any greasy feel.

I’ve used this alone & with other Moroccanoil products for fine hair needing volume. Directions say to use a quarter size amount of product. DO NOT use that much. Half of that amount works well with my shoulder length hair. No wonder people are complaining of weighed down hair.

I really wanted to love this product as everything else I've used from this line hasn't let me down but unfortunately it did nothing for my hair at all! It didn't weigh my hair down as other reviews have mentioned, but it also didn't add anything to my hair. It does smell nice, but I had to return it.
