Deep Sweep 2% BHA Pore Cleaning Toner with Moringa + Papaya

I got this around 6 months ago as I have oily skin and some gross looking pores, hoping it would help. I have noticed no difference in my skin and am honestly a bit disappointed, other reviews looked like they had success.

This toner is AMAZING! I had very tempered expectations, but it genuinely cleared my skin up about 90% within 3 days of using it morning and night, which is insane. I have PCOS and some hormonal acne, along with just normal whiteheads that come from commuting in public transit in a major city and walking everywhere while wearing makeup. This toner 100% cleared up the normal acne, and also like 75% cleared up the hormonal acne within 3 days. It genuinely seems like the toner works amazing for environmental pollutants or a city with poor air quality lol. Absolutely worth the price.

Not going to lie, there is a roughly 3-week purge period where little bumps and breakouts appear, but after reading up on BHAs and these acids, that is the nature of the process. I promise once all the trapped bacteria/build up comes up to the surface, the purge ends and then it's smooth sailing. All of April I went through it. I did decrease use to about 2-3 times a week, which may have helped calm the purging and in general helps avoid over exfoliating. After the purge period, I no longer experienced a break out a few hours after use or beyond. It also did wonders in exfoliating and really deep cleaning the skin. There is this thin film that sits on top of the skin after using with a clean cloth. I feel as if those are the acids doing their work so I just lock it in with a gel moisturizer to avoid the acids drying out my skin. I'll be getting the bigger size for better cost value since I finished 2 sample sizes and a 15 mL in one month. Decreasing frequency of use within the week is also the plan.

Literally the best product I’ve ever used!!! Literally I can’t go without it!! It just cleans and purifies my skin, makes it glow, preps my skin for the next products, and brightens up my entire complexion I would highly highly recommend!!entireencomplexion !!

I have oily skin that flares up and dries out when it doesn’t like a product, and this toner has worked beautifully for me. Started using it every other night and now use it nightly (I’m on my second or third bottle). Works wonders for my skin! Recommend using a very light, gentle moisturizer with it.

For years I avoided BHA due to always completely ruining my barrier and causing the angriest purging known to man. Somehow this is even more gentle than 0.5% BHA products I have tried... I have oily but sensitive skin. This watery but alcohol-free formula is so gentle and kind. The small amount of purging I did get was not inflamed at all. I did have to moisturize a bit more but my barrier was fine. I use this about once every other day, but during summer I'll likely use it nightly to control how oily my skin gets. Initially I think it made my pores look bigger just because they were so clean and you could see into them lol, but now I'm starting to see the tightening effects - I recommend using a serum with caffeine in it during the day if you feel self-conscious about the pore size - this will temporarily make them smaller while the BHA works. I also find the formula to be soothing but I think my skin really responds well to the moringa/papaya blend in Farmacy products so this might depend on the person.

Very lightweight my skin barrier has gotten less bumpy, it smells somewhat like medicine and peppermint but other than that I recommend

This toner is exactly what I need! It’s like magic for my skin. Helped with my texture/clogged pores, I noticed a difference after the first use even. The best part is it’s not drying! Everything has been drying out my skin lately so I was nervous to try this. It’s gentle but very effective. The price is a bit high but it’s worth it
