Do not recommend!! Way too expensive for how the eyeshadow is. The white has no pigment at all and the rest are hard to blend. I should have returned it.
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my mom, and she loves it! 10/10!
After using this eyeshadow for several weeks I like it very much. I am closer to 60 than 50, and I like the shimmer in this product. One star of for the crazy price.
Usually I love Dior shadows & palettes, but this one was a huge fail. The glitter colors were a mess, too much glitter, not enough pigment & just weird when trying to blend. The colors over all felt a lot more dry than before which made me eyes look older & super dry. Product was a return.
I got this in the shade Nude Dress wanting it to be my everyday eyeshadow palette, and I'm mixed. It is beautiful, smooth and subtle, but I feel like the taupy shade should be even less shimmery in order for it to work as a base for a full eye look. I use it mostky to highlight the center and inner corner of my eye (the shade in the middle is stunning for inner corner if you're a light-medium warm olive, swatches and photos don't do it justice, because it basically has no base pigment and it's a peachy duochrome pink/peach situation). Overall, I like it, I use frequently, but I got a drugstore japanese quad that does better what I wanted this to do for me lol (for anyone curious, the japanese brand is Kate, shade BR1)
The formula itself is not bad but not super pigmented. The packaging, though, is cheap, and the brushes it comes with are like the ones that come in children’s makeup. Considering the price it should be much nicer especially if it’s “limited edition”. Other Dior products are very luxurious and fit the price tag, but not sure what they were thinking when they packaged this one. It’s a very thin plastic. Not loving it

I purchased two quints from the brand directly at their initial release, before they became available at Sephora. TL:DR: Pretty packaging, blendable shades. While not a must have, these would be nice to have in a collection & make a great gift - for yourself or someone else! WHAT I LIKE: * The print on the case is beautiful, modeled after the print of the brand's popular Lady Dior handbag * This formula seems like a hybrid of the original, classic quints & the current, newer, talc-free, reformulated version * Easily blendable, layerable * Including the sponge-tip applicator - great for applying the more shimmery shades. AREA(S) FOR IMPROVEMENT: * Would love to see more color stories with this packaging - in some of the vibrant hues that Dior has put out in the past * Would be great if this collection was made permament FYI: * Limited edition * I have 2 of the 4 palettes; in each palette, there are 3 different finishes among the 5 shadows - satin, matte and shimmer * Comes with 2 mini applicators - a brush & a sponge tip applicator. The latter is useful for applying the shimmery shades. * Case is textured & made of plastic. It's not a soft plastic but it's more lightweight than the traditional Dior case. * The price point, while high, is comparable to many other luxury beauty brands, including Chanel, YSL, & Givenchy (and much less expensive than Tom Ford, Hermes) * 557 Brown Cashmere leans neutral-to-neutral-warm; the shades in 557 show up more easily on my lids than 647 * 647 Silk Taupe is more neutral-to-cool * Not a must have, but a nice-to-have product * Makes a lovely gift for someone who enjoys luxury beauty and/or Dior BUY, BUY, BUY 🛍️ or BYE-BYE 👋🏼?: * The 2 palettes I picked up are color stories I often gravitate towards. These quints will not be for everyone (both color & price) but I enjoy both & don't regret my purchase. If Dior offered aother colorway that caught my eye in this collection, I would pick it up.
