Effective but not thick. Light but not useless. Creates adequate skin barrier. Makes skin feel so balanced and calm and healthy looking for entire day even in harsh weather. Simple packaging. No pump. You have to dip your fingers into the jar!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Dr. Sturm’s Anti-Aging Cream has a lot going for it in terms of texture and presentation. The jar is sleek and well-designed, and the cream itself is lightweight yet nicely creamy, making it comfortable to apply without feeling heavy on the skin. Unfortunately, it didn’t agree with my skin as I had hoped. Instead of helping to clear or improve my complexion, I noticed it caused a bit of breakouts for me. While it may work well for others, it just wasn’t the best match for my particular skin needs. Overall, it’s a well-formulated product, but I’ll be passing on repurchasing and sticking with products that work better for my skin.

I must admit that molecular cosmetics are on another level, and this cream is exceptional for many reasons. My skin barrier was compromised from constant exfoliation, and this cream helped me bring it back to normal soothed skin. The fragrance free formula is appreciated, and it has a nice rich texture that absorbs easily and provides instant hydration that is long lasting. My skin is acne prone, and I did not experience any irritation, I am in my 30s, I dont have any wrinkles, because I use products like this to prevent premature aging, so I cant claim that it reduces wrinkles. However, it makes my skin look plump, and firmer, and it helps defend against any irritation. I think this cream is luxurious, and high end, and the price reflects it.

Generally speaking, I try to be a little more flexible when it comes to reviewing products gifted by Influenster because it is a privilege and not a right. However, in this situation, I do not think it is fair for me to do that and potentially mislead those who may read my review. I am a retinol user, and an effect of the rapid cell turnover caused by retinol is drier skin. As a result, my typical skincare routine consists of using two moisturizers- a more watery one, followed by a thicker cream to “lock it” all into place. Another retinol adjustment was how I could not use Vaseline, which was my go to method of locking in my routine previously, as Vaseline interferes with retinol. On my retinol days, I swapped out my go to moisturizer with Dr. Barbara Sturm’s face cream. Though her website says you should not use retinol with her products, a look at her ingredients list was more of a generic cream without any clear targeted ingredients- at most, maybe it was supposed to be close to a hyaluronic acid, which you should be able to use with retinol. Also, I was pretty excited to try this cream out because a lot of people spoke highly of it, and how it was very good, even with its hefty price tag. The thickness of the cream was also appealing, as I always welcome a hydrating cream that locks all my skincare in. Upon application, I really enjoyed the thickness and smoothness it left my skin. I did put a little extra, as I typically put on a thick layer, and I wanted to treat the product I would treat any other moisturizer, so as to see the effect. The following morning, my skin felt a little taut and dry, unlike how my skin typically feels the morning after. This indicated that there was no moisturizing or locking in done by this cream, as the dryness feeling would come from the retinol, so this cream did absolutely nothing in locking anything in. It was also a bit confusing because I did not see an alcohol, drying agent that would make me feel this dry.

I suggest using about a dime size after washing your face, this was my new favorite moisturizer. Most importantly, my face is smooth and firm, I have noticed my dark spots are disappearing. This is enriched with hyaluronic acid for a deep moisture. The packaging is super luxurious, with a ceramic like finish. I will be sure to clean and use this as decoration on my shelf. This absorbs quick and using this daily is great for brightening your face. Also, please make sure to apply spf afterwards to protect your skin. Overall, I appreciate the ethos of the brand and their commitment to sustainability.

I received this for free from Dr. Barbara Sturm and influenced her in exchange for an honest review. I tried the super anti-aging face cream, which is worth over $300. I am of tan complexion. They sent me a 1.7 ounce and I tried it religiously for 2 week and a half. I didn’t feel anything special and I found it to be a bit drying and I started to notice that my skin was showing wrinkles that weren’t there before I started . Then I learned she actually has a line for darker skin tones. I think that perhaps that line might work better for me than this one. I’m going to give this to my sister who happens to have very fair skin. I believe this is going to work better on her skin. I just wanted to make people aware that there is a darker skin tone line for people looking to try Dr. Barbara. I would hope that in the future I’m considered for that line because this is a prestigious line that has cutting edge technology. Although I was extremely excited to try the product, I didn’t feel like it worked for my particular skin.

The packaging was great. No irritation. I love it doesn’t leave a residue or feel heavy. The finish is amazing and scent isn’t strong. Helps with my fine lines and little wrinkle I’ve noticed. Have to buy more once I’m done with this one i received from influencer.

I had a bit of a dry skin spell during the weather change and nothing would hydrate me and keep my skin moisturized throughout the day. This has truly done its job and then some. There is no annoying scent or extra greasy texture that peels or give a tacky finish. This cream glides over my skin like absolute magic, buttery smooth and light weight. A little goes a long way so I don’t feel the need to glob my face with a ridiculous amount. After using this for a few weeks my skin has more visible nourishment, less dry patches and my morning glow is phenomenal. Truly impressed with the results.
